Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling profession in Italy. The first time she acted was in 1996's TV production Her Costly Affair. Then, in a minor role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. It was a hard time for her to make the transition between modeling and acting because models were not considered to be good actors and tended to be granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy persevered, and she eventually landed larger roles in films Varsity Blues and The 70s. In 2005, she was cast as the lead in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than 10 years of working. Amy continued to make significant films like the Crank series opposite Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played an adored recurring character.
