Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Amy Smart was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut part. After that, she was a star as a supporting character in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very for a long time. This was not easy for Amy as she had to move from modelling into performing. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to play smaller, less important roles. Amy was never discouraged. Her first major role came in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. Then she stepped into leading roles with the 2005s romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she had been chasing for over a decade. Amy continued to make major films such as the Crank series opposite Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played an adored recurring character.
