Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many abilities, which included the ability to act, direct and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Early on, Anna appeared on several television commercials. Anna relocated from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They got engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna became a Jew at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list.
