In the following evening she was featured in the headlines of each UK paper. Lowe was the first female host in UK television history for the FA Cup final, a live, six-hour show from Wembley Stadium. Lowe started her career as an anchor and reporter with Setanta Sports in 2007. She was the host of the pioneering Football Conference coverage. The presenter also hosted Setanta Premier League Studio's Football Matters.
