Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but born and raised in Winnipeg made her acting d but with The Piano. At age 11 she was the tiniest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. After she responded to an open casting call and was selected for the part, she performed as Flora McGrath, the daughter of a muted Scottish piano player who moves in New Zealand in mid-19th-century to marry. It was her first role at the age of nine, and she had no prior experience in acting. As a teenager, she moved to America. Paquin had the role of lead in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 and had a minor part in the film as Jane Eyre when she was an infant. Paquin portrayed Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. Also, she played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She portrayed teenagers for the roles of Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) as well as the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
